Multi-media sample technique for traveling to China

1) Which media environments and technologies/applications/platforms will I use in documenting and telling the story of my China Trip?

I will be using my regular digital camera to create a collage / photo journal. Also I will be carrying around my phone therefore I plan to document through use of video as well. All of this will be placed on my blog when I return from China. I will be writing every night about my adventures, like a journal, instead of bringing my computer, then will transfer it over when I return.

2) What equipment/gear will I need to bring to capture my stories?

I will need to bring my journal, digital camera, and my phone. So I can get this China adventure started!

3) How will I capture and "bottle" my stories while traveling in China?

I probably will just be taking random shots with my digital camera and iphone video of our travels. Whatever I find interesting I will be documenting it. I really want to focus on the culture itself when I am over there so I feel like my main focus would be on the environment and the people. When I write in my journal at night, that would be a more personal post of what I liked and didn't like so when I transfer it to my blog later on, people might be able to relate to my travels and emotions. My overall goal is for people to get really interested in what I have to say in my blog, and these journal entries should do it.
